What it’s Like to Work with Us

The Foundation of Our Interior Design Firm

When you decide to hire a professional to elevate your home, the anticipation of the final reveal is often accompanied by questions about the journey itself. What does a residential interior designer do on a day-to-day basis? How do we communicate? Will the process feel overwhelming? At Brooke Bundy Designs, we believe that the experience of creating your dream home should be as luxurious and refined as the result.

As a residential interior design firm serving Frisco and the greater Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, as well as clients across all U.S. states with remote services, we have spent years refining our client experience. Our core philosophy is designing based on experiences and creating a house that validates the decisions people have made with their lives. To achieve this, we have engineered a streamlined, highly transparent, three-step process. We remove the guesswork, eliminate the stress, and allow you to enjoy the creative evolution of your space. Here is exactly what it is like to work with us, and the full-service interior design process explained from start to finish.

Step 1: The Project Discovery Call

Every successful partnership begins with a conversation. The first step in our process is the Project Discovery Call. This is a complimentary, 15-minute Zoom appointment designed to break the ice and establish a clear baseline for your project.

During this meeting, you have the opportunity to meet Brooke, share the vision for your space, and discuss the specific goals you want to achieve. We understand that inviting a designer into your home is a highly personal decision. The primary benefit of this initial call is that without ever leaving your home or office, you can experience Brooke’s design perspective and gauge what it will be like to collaborate with her. There is no pressure and no commitment required. By the end of your 15 minutes together, you will leave knowing exactly how to move forward and what the next actionable steps are for your interior design project.

Step 2: The Design Consultation

Once we determine that we are a good fit during the Discovery Call, our next step is a service called the Design Consultation. This is a comprehensive, 1-to-2-hour working session that acts as the strategic foundation for your entire project. This $415 service can be conducted either in-home for our local North Texas clients or virtually for our nationwide clients.

During the Consultation, you will walk Brooke through your home (or conduct a virtual walk-through) to get her feedback on your ideas and answers to your questions. You get immediate, professional feedback, actionable recommendations, and clear solutions for areas of concern.

We specifically designed this service to be incredibly robust. It provides so much value and expert information that, even if you decide full service interior design isn't the right path for you at this moment, you will have the exact recommendations you need to confidently move forward on your own. Alternatively, if you are looking to hire us for the entire project, this consultation gives our team the exact details we need to map out the follow-up services tailored to your home.

Step 3: The Customized Proposal and Flat-Fee Structure

One of the most common questions we receive is, how much does an interior designer cost in Frisco TX? The traditional interior design industry is notorious for confusing hourly billing structures that leave clients anxious about the final invoice. We handle things differently.

Based on the highly specific information gathered during your Design Consultation, we craft a customized proposal for your project. This document details exactly how we will help you reach your design goals and provides the full, comprehensive price of that service. We charge flat fees for most of our services. This means you will know exactly what our fee will be before you get started. By removing the ambiguity of hourly billing, we allow you to relax and fully immerse yourself in the creative process without worrying about a running clock.

The Dual Strength of Our Team: Design Meets Operations

Achieving a truly high-end result requires more than just a great eye for color and space planning interior design; it requires meticulous project management. This is where the unique dynamic of Brooke Bundy Designs shines.

While Brooke serves as the Principal Designer, bringing your favorite memories and places to life through textiles and layouts, her twin sister Joan operates as the Director of Operations. Joan manages the complex, behind-the-scenes logistics that make a project successful. With extensive experience managing finances, personnel, and operations in the construction industry, Joan handles the spreadsheets, the data organization, and the budget tracking. Our goal is to ensure that the logistical parts of a remodeling or refurnishing project that typically cause stress stay perfectly managed, allowing you to fully enjoy the interior design process.

Turnkey Purchasing, Ordering, and Installation

For clients seeking the ultimate hands-off, luxury experience, our residential interior design services extend far beyond creating the initial concept. While it is not required that we handle the purchasing of the items we specify in your design, we highly recommend it for a seamless execution.

If you are a busy professional and want to know if we will handle everything while you are at work, the answer is an absolute yes. You can be as hands-off as you want. Our team is happy to manage all aspects of turning the design plans into a reality. We oversee the complex logistics of ordering the furnishings, tracking the shipments across various vendors, coordinating safe delivery, and overseeing the final installation. You get to skip the headaches of delayed shipping and damaged freight, stepping straight into a beautifully finished space.

Dedicated Communication and Project Management

Clear, consistent communication is the lifeblood of any successful design project. To ensure nothing is ever lost in translation, our main form of communication throughout a project is email. We have learned that this is the most effective way to keep all decisions, changes, and deliverables organized and accounted for. It provides both our team and our clients with a clear, searchable written record of every approved detail. We pair this with highly efficient, focused meetings to make the decision-making process easy and respectful of your time.

In-Home vs. Remote Design Services

Whether you are building a custom home interior or simply need help with furniture selection and procurement for a single room, your geographic location should not limit your access to premium design.

For clients located in Frisco, Texas, and the surrounding North Dallas areas, we offer comprehensive in-home services. However, we also serve residents of all U.S. states with our highly refined remote services.

How do remote services work? We use a combination of email and Zoom (or FaceTime depending on client preference). Photos and details about the house are sent via email to us from the client. Walk-throughs of the house are conducted virtually, and all plans and ideas are discussed just as if meeting in person. Meetings between us and contractors and other trade professionals are also held virtually. All deliverables following a virtual meeting are sent via email.

Beyond Furniture: Selecting Finishes and Materials

A cohesive luxury home requires attention to the fixed elements just as much as the soft furnishings. Clients frequently ask if we will help with selecting finishes even if they don't need furniture or decor. Yes, we are happy to assist with selecting finishes like countertops, flooring, wall treatments, hardware, and lighting. We understand that sometimes all you need is a new look for your living room, or a new backsplash for your kitchen, and we have designed our services to easily work with these types of smaller projects.

Begin Validating Your Life's Decisions Today

Your home should be a physical manifestation of the life you have built and the people you cherish. When you partner with our firm, you are not just hiring a decorator; you are hiring a dedicated team committed to making your home feel effortlessly impressive and profoundly authentic to you.

The process of elevating your surroundings should be exciting, transparent, and professionally managed from the very first conversation to the final installation day. We have built our entire business model around that exact belief.

We invite you to take the very first step toward a more beautiful, highly functional home. Schedule a free 15-minute virtual meeting with Brooke to get started, share your vision, and plan for next steps.
