Our Renovation Service Process
Step 1: DESIGN CONSULTATION
Purpose: Establish initial design direction and define core material and style intent.
This phase sets the foundation for the project through a focused conversation around your space, goals, and priorities. We discuss high-level design direction, including preliminary considerations for flooring, countertops, backsplash, cabinetry direction, lighting, and plumbing fixture intent. All recommendations are provided verbally and serve as early design direction rather than finalized documentation.
Outcome:
You leave with a clear conceptual direction that can be shared with your contractor to support early budgeting and preliminary pricing discussions.
Step 2: DESIGN DEVELOPMENT PACKAGE
Purpose: Translate the concept into a coordinated design package that defines the design intent.
Building on decisions made during the Design Consultation, we develop the layout, visual direction, and material selections into a cohesive set of drawings and schedules.
Outcome:
A complete design intent package that communicates the vision clearly to contractors and trades, allowing them to accurately price and plan your project.
Step 3: CONSTRUCTION DESIGN SUPPORT
Purpose: Provide ongoing design guidance during construction to support the consistent execution of the design intent.
This phase supports both you and your contractor as questions, substitutions, and real-world conditions arise during construction.
Outcome:
The design intent is followed as decisions are made on site.
