I NEED HOUSE ENTRYWAY IDEAS

My front door opens into a really small entryway, with one short wall to the left of the door, and the room we use as an office space to the right. I wanted it to feel interesting and dramatic when people walk in, so Brooke gave me some ideas that I am in love with.

-Tall greenery in a unique vase, that you see as soon as you walk in.

-A rug that defines the entry space and looks modern and artistic.

-A large tapestry on the wall by the door, with a small framed art print in it.

-A small round table out ahead, with flowers and interesting things on it.

-And so exiting looks just as dramatic and interesting, a larger round table in the corner of the office area that’s closest to the door, covered in my rock collection.

Entryway corner with wooden cabinet. Cabinet top has an abstract vase with tall branches, a woven wicker tray, a silver candle stick, a small yellow bowl, and two large books. On the wall behind the cabinet is a black and tan sketch of a fort.

This corner is the first thing you see when walking in, so I wanted it to stand out. The pink flowers and tall branches in their interesting vases catch attention and add nice curves next to the straight lines of the corner and cabinet.

A wooden cabinet with a black and tan sketch of a castle on the wall behind it, and items on the cabinet top: terra cotta vase covered in raised black curves. A woven tray. Two large hard cover books. A silver metal candlestick with a spiral candle.

I love the different textures on top of this cabinet: leaves, terra cotta vase, woven tray, metal candle stick, wax candle, hardcover books and ceramic bowl, and soft canvas.

Entry way with tan and white patterned rug, round wooden table with pink flowers, a white chair, a round table with a rock collection.

My two dogs love this rug from Flor and so do I. They run, roll and play on it, and it has not budged. It’s easy to clean, the pattern makes this area look stylish and interesting, and the front door glides right over it with no problem.
